WedgeWorks Low Bounce K Grind Wedge
Back by popular demand, the Low Bounce K is now available through Vokey WedgeWorks. Inspired by Voke’s original K Grind, the Low Bounce K features the same bunker-friendly, wide, high-cambered sole but in a low bounce.
Each week on Tour, Will Harvey works with players to prepare for the firm, fast fairway conditions they encounter week to week. The Low Bounce K is perfect for the player with a shallow attack angle playing firm conditions but would benefit from the wider sole out of deep soft bunkers. Featuring SM9 Progressive CG and Spin Milled groove, the WW Low Bounce K has 6° of bounce and is available in 58° and 60° lofts.
Who is it for?
Players with a shallow angle of attack playing firm conditions, though would benefit from a wider sole out of deep, soft bunkers
What is the difference between the WW Low Bounce K and the SM9 K Grind?
Both grinds feature a wide, high-cambered sole and are great out of the bunker. The SM9 K Grind has 14 degrees of bounce and is great for steep swings and soft conditions, while the WW Low Bounce K has 6 degrees of bounce and is great for shallow swings and firm fast conditions.
What is the difference between the WW Low Bounce K and the SM9 L Grind?
Both are low bounce wedges, and require precise delivery, but the WW Low Bounce K features a wide, high-cambered full sole. The SM9 L Grind has a narrow sole, with heel, toe, and trailing edge relief. Players looking for the ultimate bunker club in a lower bounce option will like the WW Low Bounce K Grind.
K GRIND: THE ULTIMATE IN SOFT CONDITIONS
The K Grind is the highest bounce wedge in the lineup and is the ultimate bunker club. A wide, full sole wedge with enhanced camber, the K Grind is forgiving from a variety of softer sand and turf conditions.
:08 - For players requiring forgiveness in a wide, full sole.
NEW PATENTED SPIN MILLED PROCESS FOR MAXIMUM SPIN
A new Spin Milled cutting process in the SM9 models – which
includes tightening our allowable tolerances - produces consistently sharper
grooves wedge after wedge, resulting in higher, more consistent spin rates.
- Spin Milled Grooves are the Gold Standard in groove cutting precision - meticulously engineered and cut to the edge to maximise spin and shot control. Each Vokey wedge head is 100% inspected for utmost quality and performance.
- Micro-grooves are individually cut in between grooves, which maximises spin on partial shots.
- A proprietary heat treatment is applied to the impact area to double the durability of the groove without impacting feel – making it the most durable groove in golf.
- Each groove is individually cut based on loft and finish, deeper grooves and higher lofts (56°-62°) with wider, shallower grooves.
