It’s been almost 50 years since Zebra Golf unveiled their revolutionary and iconic mallet golf putter, with distinct stripes. Just a few short months later, Raymond Floyd would win the 1976 Masters with it. Zebra was well and truly in the history books. The brand fell out of top tier status after Nick Price’s win with a Zebra putter at the Open in 1994. But 26 years later, Zebra was acquired by Golf Brands Inc with a vision to restore its reputation as a top putter brand. In 2020, legendary putter designer Austie Rollinson joined Zebra to help power its comeback.
In 2023, the brand unveiled its latest designs at the PGA Show to rave reviews, with Sport Illustrated’s Gary Van Sickle naming the new Zebra AIT1 the #1 Unforgettable Item he saw. Short for Artificial Intelligence Technology, the AIT series features four models packed full of modern technology to optimise any player’s short game. Featuring the brand’s iconic stripes, the Zebra putters make it easier to align the putter face towards the target and also make it easier to visualise the line when you’re standing over a putt.
