TaylorMade Qi10 Rescue

Switching out of long irons and onto hybrid/rescue clubs has been far easier than I expected. My 2 new TM Qi10 Rescues (22' & 25') are very simple to hit off fairways and light rough, achieving distances I could only dream of with my previous irons. The clubs are forgiving but it is still easy to mishit if I forget to play it like an iron and try to sweep the ball. The sole tends to dig in and I get early ground contact. But that is me, not the club. Good contact sees a high launch, long and straight flight and consistent hitting distances. The 4H gets me out to 170m and 5H to 145m, both of which easily beat the old irons they have replaced. I've only hit a few shots off tees and the small head depth has made those shots harder than expected. My only niggle, the club head covers supplied come with pre-marked tags that offer options of 2, 3, or 4. Not so good if you have a 4 and a 5, hardly the end of the world though. Love these new clubs and using to point where my retained 5 and 6 irons are not used much now.

Such a versatile and easy club to use from a variety of situations. Would highly recommend for any level of golfer.
