TaylorMade Qi10 Fairway Wood

I dont hit fairways off a tee and this is really easy to pick up off the turf. The light but stiff (Ventus blue) shaft is really good for feel and the flight/distance are excellent. Only negative I can say is maybe the white headcover which will not look so great after a British Winter.

Having updated my bag with a set of TM Qi10 woods and hybrids, the 18' fairway wood is the pick of the bunch by a country mile! I am reaching distances off the tee equivalent to my old driver, hitting straight with zero deviation, and regularly knocking it further than my partners are reaching with their drivers. Most importantly I can hit clean shots off the turf which fly straight and achieve almost the same distances as off the tee. In an Open comp yesterday I hit a 205m 2nd shot to within 10m of the green on a Par-5. Previously that was a minimum of 3 longer iron shots to get on. It is my club of choice for fairway shots over 150m even on relatively steep side slopes and is so easy to swing hard through the ball. My only negative comment is that the finish is not as hard as older metal and alloy woods with the stony surfaces on our courses marking the sole rather quickly. Not a problem, I'll just buy another one and maybe a 25' as well :-)
