This GPS was a present from my wife, as an upgrade to a basic yardage model by another manufacturer. It's fantastic for playing new courses as the topography is like having knowledge of a local caddie. Apart from standard front/middle/back of green, it also zooms in to a detailed green format. Fairway run-outs, water hazards, bunkers and obstacles are all distanced. The device orientates itself to wherever you are, making it easing to recover from poor shots. The touchscreen allows you to position a target point to aim for, giving resulting feedback of distance remaining to the green. The device also allows you to enter your club yardages and facilitates you to enter your round. Rounds can later be viewed online and ball mapping of shots is available, if desired. The online site is a little slow, albeit the device can be updated quicker over Wi-Fi. Overall the device gives you another set of eyes, it's like having a caddie (not that I've ever had one) without the conversation. In summary, this device is an excellent purchase and gives you the necessary feedback you require. It came with a free one years subscription, normally around £30, which is a small price to pay if you wish to save a few shots on your round.
