Crafted with a solid stainless steel face integrated with rounded 6061 aluminium flange-sole components, this putter balances exceptional feel and performance. Described by Scotty as “connected” at address, it ensures simple alignment, high moment of inertia (MOI), and modern aesthetics.

Designed to encourage a smooth stroke while maintaining stability, the Phantom X 9.5 features a clean sight line that simplifies alignment, boosting player confidence. Customisable stainless steel sole weights allow for personalisation according to player preferences. With a new sole design that balances on the “X” when soled, the Phantom X 9.5—originally unveiled in last year’s limited Phantom X 9.5 Triple Black—enhances the family lineup with a crucial shape that meets the demands of today’s game. Additionally, it is equipped with the advanced Pistolero Plus grip, which boasts a decorative, non-slip texture.

2022 PHANTOM X TECHNOLOGY
The 2022 Phantom X putters are crafted from a combination of steel and aluminium, with nine of the ten models featuring a solid, precision-milled 303 stainless steel face fused seamlessly with a 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium sole and flange component. Notably, the new Phantom X 12 employs an aluminium face and sole paired with stainless steel wings, maximising MOI while offering a sleek, updated look that simplifies aiming compared to its predecessor.

SOLID STAINLESS STEEL FACE/BODY CONSTRUCTION
Each model in the Phantom X series, including the Phantom X 5, 5.5, 5s, 7, 7.5, 9, 9.5, 11, and 11.5, is meticulously precision-milled in the USA from solid 303 stainless steel. This design extends through the body and wings, complemented by an integrated aluminium sole and flange component for superior performance and playability, ensuring consistent sound and a soft feel.

PRECISION MILLED, TOUR-INSPIRED SHAPES
Developed with insights from touring professionals and validated by numerous victories worldwide in 2021, the 2022 Phantom X mallets showcase player preferences with features such as precision milled solid stainless steel faces, refined putter head profiles, improved alignment cues, high-durability finishes, and specific shaft and neck configurations.

SIMPLE ALIGNMENT
The clean topline, combined with a single milled sight line painted dove grey on the dark flange, facilitates confident alignment, expertly paired with the subtly sculpted milling marks integrated into the metal.

SMALL SLANT/JET NECK
Featuring a small slant/jet neck that lays back slightly, this design utilises a seamless shaft-over setup, providing an uninterrupted view of the ball from address with nearly one shaft’s offset, promoting natural toe flow during the stroke.

PHANTOM X WEIGHTING & SHAFTS
The innovative Phantom X putters incorporate advanced stability weighting through two custom stainless steel heel-toe weights and stepless steel shafts.

Each model includes an updated Pistolero Plus grip, characterised by its non-slip and decorative texture. This grip maintains reduced taper in the lower hand, offering the perfect blend of size, feel, and feedback when paired with Phantom X mallet putters.

The 2022 Phantom X stainless steel putter heads are treated with Scotty’s silver mist process, resulting in a near-permanent, radiant appearance and texture that resists glare. The 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium components receive a sophisticated black anodised finish. Scotty’s signature three-dot theme is featured on the back cavities of the Phantom X 5, 5.5, 5s, 7, and 7.5 as unpainted raw circles milled in the stainless steel. The sight lines on the Phantom X 5, 5.5, and 5s are painted black, while the Phantom X 7 and 7.5 utilise a combination of black and white lines. The sight lines on the Phantom X 9, 9.5, 11, 11.5, and 12 models are accented in light grey.
