Odyssey DFX 7 Putter

Never used a mallet putter before as I always preferred the classic, minimal blade style, so resisted for many years. But needed help this year. This is a great value introduction. The weight, face and grip are perfect for me. Short range putts improved and long range distance control also. I don’t expect modern (AI, Strokelab etc) are much better, but carry a significantly higher price tag. I’ve not used Odyssey for years (always preferred Ping or anything that looked like a Wilson 8802) but this putter just works. Only downside is the unsightly DFX branding.

This is a great putter, clean contact with the ball & a good weight for controlling putts.

I have found the product to be a major upgrade on my previous Wilson putter. The large club face allows for greater forgiveness and the sound of the ball of the face is a thing of beauty.

Has got a positive feel to it with a great grip and perfect weight. Has improved my score card.

I was looking for a new putter without breaking the bank, and this has been an excellent choice. Used it twice in a round so far and a lot of time on the practice greens. Really liking it so far and seems to have an excellent feel. Not sure it has improved my putting so far, but then it will take a time to adjust. Love the weight and feel of it though, and I suspect I will be taking less putts on my way round after a couple of months getting used to it.

Great putter, feels good in the hands, good alignment with ball and matching head cover is a ice touch to, happy with purchase.
