After a prolonged period in lockdown with little exercise, carrying my bags proved to put a lot of pressure on my back meaning that I wasn't enjoying my golf anymore. So I decided that it was time to realise that I'm not a spring chicken anymore and to buy a trolley (despite the mickey taking from my mates). I did a decent amount of research and gained some recommendations and decided upon a Clicgear Rovic, because of it's compact size, ease of assembly, weight and overall usability. The only question I really had was to swivel or not to swivel...i.e. the RV1C or the RV1S model. I umm'ed and arr'ed a lot - is it really worth an extra £30 (or 19%) just to have a front wheel that swivels? Well, the answer in my opinion is absolutely yes! It's just like driving my daughter's 3-wheel buggy - it's so manoeuvrable and easy to drive, even one handed. And, when you're pushing the RV1S up the middle of the fairway (it does happen sometimes) and you want to check your phone, you can easily flip the lever to fix the front wheel, so it rolls straight (no need to steer), and push it with your belly, leaving your hands free. I also love the fact that you can buy lots of accessories for the Rovic, although I suggest that you get the trolley first before buying accessories, as I got a standard cup holder and a ball clip included with my RV1S. (Incidentally, I find the standard cup holder pretty useless - it will hold a can of Coke or a beer very tightly, so a medium/large water bottle stands no chance!). Also, you might be surprised about what you think you need versus what you actually need, so I suggest taking your trolley out on the course before spending lots of money of the accessories that you probably won't use. Hope this helps someone. Enjoy.
