Unit has a very clear voice report regarding distances. Saves looking. Good practice features. Makes you realise your carry distances art as good as you believe. Makes practice more enjoyable

I first used it to find out my club distances, as I was just starting out. Albeit with range balls, I still found this worked great. I'm now using it to practice, with the target mode this is fun. Also, I can challenge my buddies by setting a random distance to shoot at, though it is tricky as our lofts differ. But that's minor. Everything under 90 meters is not very accurate, the other distances are remarkably exact- compared with Trackman and range flag markers, and it's usually spot on with a couple outliers. Hardly get no-reads, very reliable. Doesn't like direct sunlight, that's when you get no-reads more often. Voice announcement function is great when alone on the range, volume is adjustable for the other times. Remote control is PERFECT and makes changing clubs easy. Changing loft angles per club is easy, as well. Battery life is good. Display easy to read for my eyes, big enough, too. Metric/Imperial can be selected. Can stand heat or colder temperatures, have used in at +35 and -10 degrees Celsius here in Switzerland. What's not to like: for the price, really not much. Obviously it doesn't measure ball data and thus, has no spin info. It merely calculates all missing information, but that seems to work fine. Only gripe I have is the short range shots read long every time. Recommended!

Good for working out average distances on wedges and irons. Not all the features of a full on launch monitor but given the price can't comain

I use the swing monitor on the driving range for daily practice. It´s of course not as accurate as a trackman, but great value for the money.
