2 Year Warranty
DIFFERENT AT ITS CORE.
Experience a crisp and consistent impact, solid feel, and a well-controlled flight trajectory with enhanced forgiveness, all thanks to the innovative construction of the PING iron. This cutting-edge model features an aerospace-grade aluminium insert that is seamlessly combined with a forged 1025 carbon steel body and a precision-forged 17-4 stainless steel laser-cut face. The engineering behind the face includes MicroMax™ grooves, designed with steeper sidewalls and tighter spacing to accommodate four additional grooves, effectively minimising fliers in short irons while preserving spin control in long irons. The sophisticated Hydropearl 2.0 finish efficiently repels water, ensuring reliable and consistent performance whether on a wet or dry pitch.
THREE-PIECE FORGED DESIGN
The innovative three-piece forged design combines an aerospace-grade aluminium core—one-third the density of stainless steel—with a forged 1025 carbon steel body and a 17-4 stainless steel laser-cut face. This structure ensures optimal trajectory control and delivers exceptional shot-making precision.
ALUMICORE™ TECHNOLOGY
Incorporating AlumiCore™ technology, the aerospace-grade aluminium insert saves approximately 30 grams of material, allowing the inclusion of tungsten toe and heel weights. This strategic design advancement raises the Moment of Inertia (MOI) to match that of the larger i210 iron, providing a level of forgiveness that is uncommon in a forged iron, while also contributing to a stable and solid feel upon impact.
MICROMAX™ GROOVES
The fully machined face is enhanced with MicroMax™ grooves, which feature steeper sidewalls and tighter spacing, thereby accommodating four extra grooves. This design helps reduce fliers in short irons while efficiently preserving spin in longer irons.
Tour-Preferred Styling
Designed for the skilled player, the iron showcases a thin topline and appropriate offset, creating a clean and streamlined appearance. Additionally, the Hydropearl 2.0 finish not only looks great but also ensures predictable performance in both wet and dry conditions.
Higher MOI
The advanced toe and tip weighting significantly enhance MOI, thereby minimising the stat area and achieving a level of forgiveness that is unprecedented in a forged design.
100% Inspected Manufacturing Steps
The development process of this iron involved rigorous standards; PING’s innovation and engineering teams dedicated significant time perfecting the manufacturing procedures, which include a thorough 100% inspection of critical steps such as sole shaping, head polishing, face machining, and head forging.

NOTES
- These are design specifications that may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
- Lie angle is based on Blue Colour Code at standard length.
- Power Spec Loft is a fitting option for players seeking to improve iron distance or reduce spin for optimal trajectory. The Power Spec features a custom loft design that provides a calculated boost without compromising the club's integrity.
- Club bounce angles may slightly vary if ordered with non-standard loft specifications.
- Standard swingweights for graphite-shafted clubs are typically 1 to 2 points lighter than indicated, depending on the shaft flex.
- Achievable swingweights will vary according to shaft and grip combinations.
- Available in both left- and right-handed models.
Note: Shaft weights mentioned are based on the trimmed length of a 7-iron and may differ from the specifications on the manufacturers' websites.
