The G440 hybrids are thoughtfully crafted to cater to a diverse range of skill levels, with each model engineered to provide a unique ball-flight profile. Starting from the subtly fade-biased 2 hybrid, designed for superior off-the-tee performance, to the draw-promoting 5, 6, and 7 hybrids that strategically fine-tune gapping, these clubs are built for optimisation.
All hybrids feature an innovative design characterised by a shallower and thinner face, resulting in enhanced face contact that translates to increased ball speed and higher launch angles—ideal for hitting and retaining greens. A low centre of gravity (CG), achieved through the use of multi-material head construction (including stainless steel, maraging steel, and carbon), also significantly boosts distance. Furthermore, the streamlined back weight allows for a refined sole design, ensuring the club sits flush against the ground while maintaining a consistent face angle.
Re-designed Face Structure
An 8% shallower face enables golfers to strike higher on the face, thus facilitating a higher launch of the hybrids. The face has been made 6% thinner, and with an optimised face profile, it increases ball speed at the centre while effectively managing ball speed on off-centre hits.
Free-Hosel Technology
By eliminating 4g from the hosel, screw, and heel section of all hybrid lofts, mass savings yield a 12% reduction in CG. This, combined with the decreased face height, enhances launch and stopping power, all without sacrificing ball speed.
Contoured Sole Design
The refined back-weight profile ensures that the club remains flush against the ground and the face angle stays consistent, regardless of the loft or lie setting. This allows golfers to take full advantage of the multiple loft and lie options available through the adjustable hosel.
Extensive Loft Offerings
The hybrids are tailored to accommodate golfers at various skill levels. The 2 hybrid (17°) features a slight fade bias with a lower, more penetrating trajectory for off-the-tee performance. The lofts have been increased by 1° in the 3 (20°) and 4 (23°) hybrids for a higher launch angle with a neutral flight path and improved stopping power. The 5 (26°), 6 (30°), and 7 (34°) hybrids offer a slight draw bias which aids in producing straighter flights and seamless transitions into an iron set.
CarbonFly Wrap Crown
The inclusion of a CarbonFly Wrap crown reduces weight, which is reallocated to lower the CG, ensuring greater forgiveness while contributing to a more pleasing, muted sound at impact.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel
The lightweight, 8-position hosel facilitates adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than standard), enabling precise control over ball flight for optimal performance.
