Team TaylorMade athletes are set to showcase the bespoke Commemorative British Open staff bag and headcovers, epitomising the regal essence of this year's location. Achieving royal status in 1978 during its centennial celebrations, the club embodies a rich heritage.

The striking Royal Purple serves as the foundational colour of the bag, elegantly accented with golden ribbons encircling the base and the top. Accented with the pristine white TaylorMade logos, these elements fuse to form a majestic colour scheme.

This year’s staff bag is replete with meticulously crafted details. Decked in purple, the sides of the bag feature a unique checker pattern of postage stamps, interspersed with alternating inlays of the TaylorMade logo and the number 8, honouring the legendary 8th hole at the venue, known for its westerly view over the Firth of Clyde.

Famously the shortest hole in British Open history, the par-3 spans just 123 yards. The valuables pocket bears the inscription 'Ailsa', commemorating the breathtaking views from the tee box of the 8th hole, as famously described by Willie Park Jr., the 1887 and 1889 British Open Champion, who likened it to a postcard scene looking towards Ailsa Craig.

Crafted from plush flocking material, the bag's TaylorMade logos echo the opulent collars historically worn by royalty, adding an air of nobility to the design. The rear of the bag features an artful design of railroad tracks adorned with the number 11, nodal to the challenging 11th hole at the venue, characterised by its need for a precise, long tee shot over dense gorse to a concealed fairway bordered by out-of-bounds and a railway line.

The bag is also accented with a ‘152nd’ logo intertwined in the golden ribbon at the top, marking the 152nd occurrence of the British Open, while twin golden serpents at the base honour the mythological beings in Royal Troon's emblem.

Finally, the Latin motto TAM ARTE QUAM MARTE, meaning "As Much by Skill as by Strength", is elegantly scripted onto the bag’s handle, paying homage to Royal Troon’s storied motto and underlining the esteemed legacy that TaylorMade athletes carry into the tournament.
